大连理工大学莱斯特国际学院2019年12月招聘1名英方行政助理公告

大连理工大学莱斯特国际学院为大连理工大学与英国莱斯特大学成立的中外合作办学机构,是大连理工大学的下属学院(以下简称“中英学院”)。该学院旨在提升中英两国的文化、科学、工程和技术交流,促进大连理工大学和英国莱斯特大学的学术合作,培养具有国际视野的相关专业高层次人才。

中英学院的招生纳入普通高等学校招生计划,面向本科一批录取。学院学生主要以“4+0”培养模式在大连理工大学完成全部学业,根据学生个人意愿,学生可选择到英国莱斯特大学学习,莱斯特大学的学生也将到国际学院学习,实现双方学生的同堂学习。毕业时学院学生将获得大连理工大学授予的学士学位证书和毕业证书,以及莱斯特大学授予的学士学位证书。

因工作需要,现面向社会公开招聘英方行政助理1名。本岗位由英国莱斯特大学设立,工作地点是大连理工大学盘锦校区,现将有关事项公告如下:

一、主要工作职责

•dealing with enquiries from current students regarding process and procedures, providing advice and assistance.

•support for the administration of the three dli taught degree programmes.

•to liaise with‘flying faculty’academic staff and the eltu along with other areas within uol and dutp, including student and academic services, it services, finance and corporate affairs.

•organise tutorial meetings, telephone conferences and skype calls for university tutors and dli students as and when required.

•make arrangements for panels and boards of examiners meetings, including the preparation of panel and board reports and agendas, drafting minutes and undertaking any follow up actions.

•working under the supervision of the dli programme administrator, provide professional services to ensure that university visits to prc run smoothly and effectively. tasks to include: visa and travel advice and support to university staff, organising accommodation and prc travel.

•providing administrative support and oversee arrangements for the incoming and outgoing transfer student processes from and to the dli.

•general office duties including:

--day-to-day travel and accommodation support to flying faculty, eap tutors and visiting uol staff.

--day-to-day support to uol teaching staff in arranging teaching-aid facilities in classrooms, e.g. projector/visualizer, av equipment for teaching, etc.; and reporting maintenance issues to dutp estates.

--ordering stationery, paper and other goods;and maintenance of office equipment, e.g. photocopier, printers, wi-fi routers, videoconference kit, etc.

--organising photocopying and printing for office use and for teaching.

--filing and archiving office documents and teaching paperwork.

--making arrangements for events and conferences organised by uol,

--other duties commensurate to grade.

二、应聘基本条件

essential:

•ability to speak english fluently in the general and business environment.

•educated to undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

•strong organisational and record keeping skills.

•work experience as an administrator in a busy environment.

•ability to understand and comply with relevant internal/external policies and procedures in the workplace.

•ability to work to tight deadlines and use judgement and initiative to prioritise workload.

•excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

•good communication skills, with the ability to give and receive information effectively using a variety of methods and to communicate with students, university staff and dli staff.

•ability to work as both as a member of a team whilst also demonstrating independent working and initiative.

•an understanding of the importance of meeting students’needs and providing a high quality service.

desirable:

•excellent it skills, including windows operating systems, microsoft office, database, etc.

•a willingness to be flexible towards duties and adaptable to change.

•a willingness to undertake occasional evening and weekend work.

•work experience in higher education.
